During office hours: Emergencies involving pain, bleeding, swelling or cosmetic embarrassment will be seen the same day if possible.  After hours: Please call the office and listen to the message for instructions.

Appointments

We are happy to book you an appointment over the phone. If leaving a message after-hours, you will be promptly contacted the next business day by a member of our office staff.

At Petrolia Dentistry, if for any reason, you cannot make your appointment or will be late to your appointment, please call us as soon as possible. We require 48 hours notice prior to rebooking or cancellation.

Modern Office Equipment & Superior Service

Our office is equipped with modern, state of the art technology and amenities. We use digital X-rays which greatly reduce patient exposure versus traditional, film based X-rays. Laser treatment of canker and cold sores is available for immediate relief of pain. We cater our services to meet your health needs as well as esthetic desires, striving to provide the best possible patient experience possible. When you meet Dr. Hoben and the staff, you will find caring professionals who will help you achieve a brand new brighter smile.

Payment Options

We accept: Cash, Debit, E-Transfer, Mastercard and Visa.
Our staff are happy to help with insurance related questions and with electronic submissions. Our patients typically receive payment from their insurance company within one week of the appointment!

For extensive treatment plans we offer payment plans divided throughout treatment as well as prepayment discounts for patients that pay in full before the start of treatment.

Dr. Hoben

Dr. Michael Hoben was born in Labrador City, Newfoundland and raised in London, Ontario. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at the University of Western Ontario. He graduated in 2007 and has expanded his qualifications to include Implantology, Invisalign, Lasers and Cone Beam imaging.

Dr. Hoben joined Petrolia Dentistry in 2011 and lives with his two sons, Xavier and Marshall.

Dr. Hoben’s brother, Ed Hoben, is a dentist that practices in Woodstock, Ontario.

Dr. Al-Rohani

Dr. Rudha Al-Rohani was born in Iraq before immigrating to Canada as a child. He grew up in London and received his undergraduate degree and Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at the University of Western Ontario. He continued his dental education with a residency in London.

Dr. Phillips

Dr. Rebecca Phillips was raised in Oil City before completing her undergraduate Masters degrees at the University of Western Ontario. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Toronto in 2018.

She has focused her practice towards children’s and sedation dentistry.
